Privacy
Competency Labs is built on data minimization. We collect what is needed to score and verify competency — nothing more — and we never sell your data.
What we collect
- Account dataName, email, password hash, and career context you provide during onboarding.
- Assessment dataYour responses to scenarios, per-question timing, and the AI-generated and human-reviewed scores derived from them.
- Verification dataFields you choose to publish on your public Passport.
- Operational logsAuthentication events, session metadata, and error logs used to run and secure the platform.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third-party advertisers. Assessment responses are private by default and are never shown publicly. Your email is never displayed on your Passport.
Your controls
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time via our data deletion request form or by emailing support@competencylabs.com. Public Passport sharing is opt-in and can be turned off at any time.
Competency Labs does not currently claim GDPR or HIPAA certification. We follow the underlying data-minimization and user-control principles as design defaults, and will publish formal attestations here when completed.
